Crafar Crouch as the main contractors have now got into high gear and construction of the main Truck Park is well underway.
Stage one of the project is expected to be operational mid August with the Caltex fuel stop, weigh bridge, truck wash and main ablution block all up and running.
This will allow drivers to use any of the facilities and if they wish sleep in their rigs on site at no charge. The ablution block will offer free toilet facilities, pay to use showers and laundromat as well as various vending machines selling coffee, snacks, sandwiches etc. Plans are also underway to have an on site portable restaurant attached to this building until such time as the main restaurant and accommodation block is completed, however confirmation of this will be available in the coming weeks.
We welcome feed back or questions from drivers and the industry at any time and anyone should feel free to drive to the site for a personal inspection of progress.
Looking forward to having you as our guest come August.
Cheers,
David Wagner.
